Juxtapose Different Patterns – Photography 101

Once you’ve identified the patterns in your scene, look for ways to blend multiple types of patterns together in a single frame, such as rows of silhouetted trees against a circular sun in the background. Contrast in a photograph can increase when straight lines lead to or end in a curve.
