    I totally agree…Sonntag was at times the mistress of the apposite quote…this has reminded me to dust off my copy of ‘On Photography’ (if it hasn’t been put on the Charity Shop pile…..)

    This quote gave me a bit of a chill because it reminded me of Annie Leibovitz’s exploitative photographs of Sontag, “carnival images of celebrity death.”
