Glowing Iris is a photograph of a beautiful Pennellata (Tall Bearded) Iris found lining the parking lot of Bellevue State Park. There were hundreds of blooms along the edge of the parking lot however, this one was pure perfection. Photographed was created by Melissa Fague.

This week’s photo challenge created by The Daily Post, is exploring the word Ephemeral.   Ephemeral means something short-lived, lasting only for a short time and something I think well suited for floral photography.
