Infrared Japanese Maple is a abstract nature / landscape photograph of a Japanese Maple Tree standing on top of a hillside over looking a valley of trees and various bushes. This photograph was created on the grounds of Winterthur Museum in the gardens. The simulated infrared effect was added in post production because of the unique tones on the scene and the wicked branches of the tree; they seem to look like bolts of lightning.

Spectacular!
That’s really cool, Melissa. Looks like the sort of tree that, in fairy tales, tries to grab you when you go by.
