Landscape Photography Quick Tips: The Weather

A landscape scene can change dramatically depending upon the weather conditions at any given moment. As a result, choosing the right time to shoot your landscape photos is of real importance. Many emerging photographers venture out on sunny day and think that it’s the best time to go out with their camera. However an overcast day that is threatening to rain can also be used for dramatic and compelling landscape photographs. Overcast days give you the opportunity to create an image with real mood and overtones that are normally not present on sunny days. The next time you want to venture out and shoot look for storms, wind, mist, dramatic clouds instead of blue skies and work with these variations in the weather.
