In terms of the resulting images, this was an unsuccessful shoot for landscape photographer Simon Baxter. It’s very typical for a photography trip to be challenging and not produce any images that you personally enjoy. Good conditions is half of the battle but the right combination of mood, light and atmosphere can be relative rare. Although Simon won’t be doing anything else with the images shown here, he still wanted to share the day and show the contrast between a difficult day and the wonderful morning of hoar frost in my last video. Every trip is worthwhile and enjoyable – you always learn something.
