Nature Taking Over is a nature photograph that was created in Alapocas Park located in Wilmington, Delaware. The park was once the site of Joseph Bancroft Mill, Kentmere in the early 19th century. Later it changed hands and was named Wilmington Finishing. Today only the steel girders of the old building remain and nature is taking it over like a trellis.
Fall Leaf in Morning Sun was photographed in my backyard the other morning. I loved the way all of the leaves that had fallen off of the tree were stuck upright between the blades of grass. When the morning sun shined over the houses it illuminated the morning dew and back lite the leaf beautifully.
