Leaves Canna Lily is a nature photograph that was created on the grounds of Bellevue State park located in Wilmington, Delaware. This photograph was created because of the beautiful symmetry of the veins of the open leaf in the background as well as the tight curl of the newer leaf in the foreground.
About This Floral Nature Photo:
Sunflower in Corner is a nature photograph that was created in the studio to capture the beauty of simplicity that the bright yellow Sunflower’s petals provide. A solid black background was used to enhance the soft curves and bold yellow of the Sunflower’s delicate petals.
Succulent 4 is a subtle macros nature photo of the pale green rounded petals of a succulent plant in full bloom. Soft lighting was used to reduce the shadows in between the broad petals of the plant but still show the depth.
Black Sands and Seashell on the Shore is a beautiful nature photograph of the abstract patterns of the black and tan sands of the shore with a large clam shell resting on it.
This photo is entered into the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Texture.
High Key Dunes is a high-key Black and White landscape photograph of the sand dunes at Rehoboth Beach with broken, weathered and buried beach fencing. The mid-day sun was perfect for creating a high-key black and white image, it provided thick shadows under the fencing. When I set the exposure level to capture the details in the shadows it blew out the details of the bland sky perfectly.

Abstract art has a great ability to set a mood. For that reason, it is a perfect backdrop for contemplative spaces like bedrooms and sitting rooms.
Abstract art can help establish a palette. Take color cues from your abstract piece by repeating a color in fabrics or lighting.
