Photographer in the Spotlight: Landscape Photographer Sigurdur William Brynjarsson Day 3
This week we chose to showcase professional travel and landscape photographer Sigurdur William Brynjarsson from Hafnarfjordur, Iceland. Sigurdur’s work caught our attention in a featured photo on the Photocrowd website and we thought you would enjoy his bold and beautiful landscape photographs from Iceland. We hope you enjoy Sigurdur‘s photos as much as we did in this week’s Photographer in the Spotlight. Check back each day to see all 7 photographs of Sigurdur’s landscape photos that we selected to spotlight and don’t forget, you can nominate yourself or your favorite photographer at: PI Photography and Fine Art.
Sigurdur’s Artist Statement and Bio
Sigurdur is a photographer living in Iceland. It has been his passion for quite some time to photograph the landscapes of Iceland along with chasing the Northern Lights.
He has won multiple awards for his work as a photographer, both locally and internationally, expecially for his Aurora Borealis photos. Sigurdur has also written a book on how to shoot the Northern Lights.
Sigurdur is a certified tour operator by the Icelandic Tourist Board. Together with his friend Bragi they run Arctic Shots, a company specializing in photo tours around Iceland.
When he is not out shooting landscapes, he is photographing people/children/newborns in the studio. That along with his wedding/engagement photography has made his work schedule quite busy but as he says, “When you´re doing something you love, it isn’t really work”.
If you would like to be showcased or know a landscape or nature photographer who should be, please submit the info through our contact us page: Photographer in the Spotlight Submission
