15 stunning mountainous landscape photographs on canvas that will take your breath away.
“In the early hours of the day when the first rays of sun start to fill the sky, a morning mist takes effect, transforming the German forest into a landscape rich with inspiration for Tordis Kayma. He wanders nature taking atmospheric shots of forest landscapes, foggy mountains, and northern night skies. The dramatic lighting and evocative mists and haze of the conifers capture the true sense of nature’s majesty.
Growing near a national park, Kayma’s passion for nature started at a young age, originating in childhood and developing into a lifelong pursuit. Now living in Berlin, the photographer continues to capture the misty mountains and valleys that filled his youth, exhibiting the beauty of the wild with his impressive stills”. – Source Redbubble Profile.

Trees are an essential part of life. We need them to breath, we use them for shade, we use them as decoration in our yards, play in them, rest against them and stroll through them. However, there is something artistically pleasing about them too. Today, I wanted to showcase the work from a variety of amazing artists that celebrate and captured the essence of the trees and forests.

Spring is in the air & the beautiful flowers are starting to bloom everywhere, which makes it even more amazing when flowers are implemented into our everyday lives. If I could have fresh flowers everyday I would…but I’d go broke refreshing them in every room… every day…. not to mention, I absolutely hate seeing them wilt. So for me, I spend a lot of time searching for the “Perfect Flower” and then I take a lots of pictures. I also change my wall art according to season in my office to keep it fresh. Thankfully, I live near Longwood Gardens which is always in bloom and always has something unique on display, so I have an endless supply of beautiful botanicals to work with year round.
The Benefits of Mother Nature in Your Home
Most people do not realize the benefits we get from having these interesting little plants in our home. We see floral arrangements and floral wall art in the spas and massage parlors we visit. Most people think that the floral art was chosen to match the delicate décor that is supposed to project serenity. In part that is true, these locations should have a sense of relaxation and peace. However, there is so much more that we get from them or from viewing them than we think.
According to science, the hippies from the 60’s had it right with their peaceful protests, “flower power” and free love. Scientists are now finding that there are a number of mental health benefits, besides temporary relaxation, when patients view flowers and plants. For example, patients in the hospital needed less postoperative pain medication when their rooms were decorated with bright flowers, floral wall art and lush greenery. Also, patients had lower systolic blood pressure and pulse rates during their stays.
To me, that tidbit of information is fascinating and intrigued me enough to dig a little more to see if there were other benefits. Why? Because our living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms are not hospital rooms (I hope not anyway). If the presence of flowers, floral art and plants do so many wonderful things for hospital patients in recovery, what benefits do they offer for healthy people?
Stress and Anxiety
We all have times that we feel stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, and tired; studies have also shown that flowers, floral / botanical art, and plants also help reduce all of those feelings. Which in turn also helps us sleep better and improves our overall state of mind. In fact, studies have shown that simply viewing roses for a few seconds can be an instant stress reliever… even while at work. Seeing the colors, the lines, the symmetry and patterns trigger “feel good” nerves in our brains to release Juju happy juices through our bodies…thus resulting in the release of tension.
So if you’re like me and can’t afford to have fresh cut flowers daily in every room, the next best thing is artwork. (Hey, at least we don’t need to water the art 😊). Here are 29 example of stunning floral wall art. Let us know which pieces speak to you the most.

Framed Wall Art Prints
Framed wall art is classy. You can never go wrong with a beautifully framed and matted wall art print to pull attention to the stunning details of the artwork inside the frame. The frame really keeps your eyes focused inside the mat board and on the piece. If you like to change up your artwork frequently, framed prints are the way to go. You just simply replace the image inside for a whole new focal point.
Canvas prints stand out and last! Canvas wall art prints are stretched on gallery wrapped canvas; they often come ready-to-hang and do not need frames or glass for protection. The benefits to canvas wall art prints is their durability and because of the material, their ability to maintain vibrant colors over decades. If you want to cherish your artwork for years to come canvas is the way to go. (The examples below are all ready-to-hang).
Metal wall art prints and posters are becoming very popular lately because of the vivid coloring and astounding longevity. These prints are not only good for indoor areas but they can also decorate outdoor living spaces too. It’s still best to keep them out of direct sun but if you have a shaded area or a seasonal room these prints are a perfect fit.
Printing on wood is also an up-and-coming trend in the world of art. It not only offers you a beautiful piece of artwork to look at, such as the example below, but it also offers you a creative way to display them. You can display the wood panels as shown below or get creative and scatter them or adjust the positions to utilize more space.
Focal wall murals or accent wall murals are an extremely powerful way to add floral / botanical art to your living or work space…without a mess! Most wall murals use to be hand painted, you had to deal with the paint fumes, hours…weeks..or even months to complete, and they were difficult to remove but now, that has all changed. The examples below are super easy to apply and remove which makes them perfect for temporary locations such as apartments, dorms, kids room…but still durable enough to be added to a location permanently….and no nasty odors.
Flowers in art are going to be eternally beautiful. No matter what part of your home or work space you add them to it will be an undoubted improve to the look and feel of the space almost instantly…as a result an improvement in your own mental state. Choose what’s in season or what you find beautiful…either way, you can’t go wrong.
